New snow amounts over the 52 hour period (8am Wedn, Jan 1 – 12pm Fri, Jan 3) anywhere from 13″ around Steamboat to 25″ in N Routt. Temperatures during the cycle ranged from 8F-15F at Storm Peak Lab, with wind speeds increasing to 30 mph gusting to 40 mph out of the West. The more northern Snotel sites show slightly warmer temps, less wind, more snow.
