Snowpack Observations
HS200cm SW @9900′, 1″ breakable sun crust below storm snow
HS200cm NW @ 9400′, F to 1F progressive hardness in top 1m, ETCN @ 30cm.
Top 8″ of new snow is upside down and easy to trigger. Lots of activity, incl. naturals and skier and remote triggered soft slabs. Slabs up to 10″ deep running on 1″ thick sun crust (solar asp) or within the lighter density storm snow. Sluffs were running far and fast in Bruiser and North Woods zones.
Riding Quality
Good skiing on cold aspects. Could feel the sun crust on solar aspects.
